There was concern of a let down game against a team that has beaten them 8 straight times. A twenty point win later, the Illini are sitting at 18-8 and playing some of the best basketball of the year. D.J. Richardson led the way with 18 points, Abrams had 13 and Griffey had 12. The Illini out rebounded the Boilermakers 44-34 with Joseph Bertrand snagging 12 boards himself. The Illini next play Northwestern and try to go for win #19.
