Coach Groce and the Fighting Illini got their first Big Ten Conference win by taking down the Buckeyes of Ohio State 74-55. The Illini rebounded well from the Purdue loss by shooting 48.3% from the field and out rebounded OSU 40-30. Brandon Paul led the way with 19 points while Nnanna Egwu chipped in with 16 on 7-11 shooting.
